HAWICK’s Brogan Anderson is in line to play against England after being named in Scotland’s under-15 girls’ squad for the coming season.
The 18-strong pool, assembled from schools across Scotland, gathered last month in Motherwell for their first training session ahead of the annual Bob Docherty tournament, which this year takes place in Dublin in April.
Brogan, 15, and her Scotland team-mates will face Wales, the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland, with both England and the Netherlands also set to join proceedings.
The Scots will then host England on Saturday, April 23, in a rerun of last year’s historic fixture which saw the two teams face each other for the first time at this level.
