THIS incredible game saw four penalties and two red cards awarded.
The homesters sailed into the lead through a Dean McColm penalty after Jordan Yardley had been brought down in the box. Yardley then put Hawick further ahead when nodding home a Ross McLeod cross.
Hawick keeper Euan Reilly then denied West Barns an opener in pulling off an excellent save from a penalty.
In the early part of the second period, the Dunbar side pulled a goal back and shortly afterwards equalised, but Waverley came roaring back and went ahead again through a second McColm spot kick.
West Barns soon got back level, netting the fourth penalty of the game.
The action continued to flow and Ian Turnbull restored Waverley’s lead, prodding the ball home during a goalmouth scramble.
Minutes later, Jamie Richardson made it a nap hand for the home side, heading an Aidan Reilly cross into the net.
Star raised their hopes by reducing the leeway, but a minute from time, Waverley’s Aidan Reilly and a West Barns player were both sent off following an off-the-ball flare up.
Newtown 1
Gala Rovers 1

GALA’s title hopes took a blow when they failed to beat lowly Newtown.
The home side struck first when Steven Makepeace set up Neil Laidlaw, who guided his header past Steven King in the Gala goal.
Rovers’ young side reacted well and a series of chances were spurned, before Jordan Steele notched his sixth goal in four games.
Both teams went for a winner in the second period, and Gala co-manager Craig Lowrie almost won it at the end when he was brought off the bench, but his effort was cleared off the line.
Hawick Legion 2
Pencaitland 4
BAL DIVISION A
Although ending up on the wrong end of the result, bottom-of-the-table Hawick Legion emerged with a lot of credit and gave high-ranking Pencaitland a run for their money.
Peter Gellaitry put Legion ahead in the first half with a header from a Luke Cooper corner.
Unbeaten in the league, Pencaitland hit back to get on level terms, but a Scott Duncan strike put Legion in front for a second time.
In the second half, the visitors equalised and, with Legion appealing for offside, Pencaitland added a third before rounding off the scoring in a breakaway raid.
Gala Hotspur 3
Winton 5
BAL DIVISION C
Hotspur threw away a two-goal lead to suffer their second successive Division C defeat.
The home side took the lead when Andy Hardie won a penalty which Rob Young netted.
Young then set up Lee Brown to make it 2-0, but Winton replied before the break to halve Spurs’ lead. Callum Gass was chopped down for a second penalty which Stuart Harkness dispatched in the second half as Gala looked to be heading for three vital points.
But the visitors from Pencaitland adopted a more aggressive style of play and managed to notch four goals past the shell-shocked Gala side.
