THE Borders is once again hosting performances and screenings as part of the Puppet Animation Festival.
Selkirk, Peebles and Coldingham will stage the event over the Easter holidays, as the festival tours around Scotland.
Councillor Graham Garvie, Scottish Borders Council’s executive member for culture, sport and community learning said: “Last year over 20,000 people enjoyed events all over Scotland.
“Puppets of all shapes and sizes will descend upon the Borders during the Easter holidays with performances and screenings taking place in the region from Coldingham to Peebles.”
Kirsty Taylor, from SBC’s arts development service, added: “Come to one of the events and let your child take part in journeys and adventures where they can unlock and explore their imaginations.”

And the same venue sees Hayao Miyazaki’s translated story Spirited Away on Wednesday, April 11.
Finally, Coldingham Hall also hosts Spirited Away on Saturday, April 14.
