ORGANISERS of the popular TweedLove Cycling Festival, in conjunction with Alpine Bikes, are looking for volunteers to help make the 10-day bike festival the best ever.
Help is needed for all kinds of jobs, from market research and publicity to race marshalling and stewarding.
“Last year, TweedLove was a big success not only in numbers of visitors and income generated, but just as importantly, because everyone thoroughly enjoyed the events and the friendly atmosphere,” said organiser Neil Dalgleish. “Our volunteers play a massive part in that.”
TweedLove aims to increase the smile factor for cyclists even further this year, with new events and an extended festival programme running from May 27 to June 5. As well as calling for local people to lend a hand and join the fun, organisers are keen for visitors to join in the events and volunteer too.
All volunteers need to be over 16 years old, previous experience not necessary. Anyone interested in joining the team should email info@tweedlove.com
