Hawick golf ace Tara Mactaggart is set to tee up with the professionals.
The 17-year-old, who plays off a handicap of two, will join the ranks of the newly-formed PLGC Scottish Ladies Open Tour (SLOT), which is open to all female professionals, as well as single-figure handicap amateurs who want to measure their ability against the pros.
The tour, which will comprise 20 professionals and 10 amateurs, will see Tara competing at illustrious venues such as Dalmahoy, St Andrews and Carnoustie, and will be a welcome addition to her playing schedule.
