Hawick United 7
CFC Bowholm 3
BAL DIVISION B
UNITED got off to a dream start in the first minute when Kevin Strathdee beat the Bowholm keeper with a cracking shot.
Ten minutes later, Strathdee added another, heading home a Ross Scott cross.
Bowholm pulled one back, but United soon struck again, Luke Shanley heading home Scott’s pass. Stuart Drysdale then got his name on the scoresheet via a 25-yard drive.
After Bowholm had reduced the leeway with a penalty, Scott made it a nap hand for United following good play by Shanley. Strathdee completed his hat-trick minutes later.
Bowholm netted again, but Hawick had the final say with a Scott Storrie strike.
