HAWICK Burns Club clawed two points closer to Border Snooker League leaders Hawick Conservative Club last week.
With the Conservative men only managing a draw at Jedburgh Legion, the path was clear for their rivals to make inroads in the championship which they did with a 5-1 victory over table props Innerleithen.

This Sunday sees the group stages of the Hawick Burns Club sponsored Borders snooker pair competitions take place at various venues around the region. Games will be the best of three frames with the winners of each knock-out group going forward to the semi-final stage on Friday, March 24 at Hawick Burns Club with the final following immediately afterwards.
