IT WAS a fine, mild morning in Langholm for the 59 runners and walkers who took part in the Muckle Toon Whisky Run on New Year’s Day, although the course of more than eight miles was a bit muddy in places.
Andy Render of Annan was the winner in 58 minutes and 32 seconds, with Stewart Pool of Langholm second in 59.11 and Andrew Kennedy of Annan third in an hour dead. Kevin Graham of Langholm took fourth place in 60.15.
