St Boswells 4

Hawick Legion Rovers 1

BAL DIVISION C

ST BOSWELLS ruled the roost for the entire first half and scored thrice in the process. Ross Trotter scored the first, while debutant Mark Lindsay got the second and third.

Following the break, Rovers reduced the leeway when Neil Storey tucked away a Chay Caldwell cut-back. Ross Cairns then had the ball in the net for Rovers, but from an offside position.

In the closing stages, the Villagers notched a fourth goal through Iain Skelly.

St Boswells’ man of the match was Shaun Bell and Hawick Legion Rovers’ best player was the evergreen Luke Cooper.
