NOMINATIONS are now open for the Annandale and Eskdale sports awards which are organised by Dumfries and Galloway council.
There are a number of categories, including: sports personality of the year, young sports personality of the year, sports team of the year, service to local sport, volunteer of the year, school sport initiative/team performance of the year for small schools and one for large schools, plus coach of the year.
Nomination forms can be picked up at the Eskdale Sports Centre in Langholm.
