AN attempt was made to break into a car bodyshop garage in St Boswells between Christmas and New Year.
The incident took place between 1pm on December 29 and midday on Hogmanay at Charlesfield Industrial Estate.
Also on Hogmanay, Ford Fusion car in Galashiels was vandalised while parked on Duke Street.
Police are appealing for information about either incident.
