THE first Border Pool League games after the Knock-out Cup saw favourites Ship A thrash their B team.
Current champs Waverley A also started in fine style, blowing away the Dryburgh, while Niki’s A took the scalps of Reivers A in a tense match. High Level A edged out Reivers B in a final-frame thriller.
In what looks a sub-standard second division, Niki’s B started in impressive fashion against newcomers Frankies, Red Lion Kelso pipped the Waverley B and Bridge B won their derby match against the A team.
