Kelso beat Peebles County by 177 runs
EAST LEAGUE DIVISION FOUR
Kelso captain Dougie Wilson scored his second century in as many weeks as he helped Kelso to a huge win at Peebles.
The Tweedsiders welcomed back the experienced Stephen Robson to the starting XI and although they made a shaky start with the loss of a couple of wickets, Wilson and Stevie Patterson steadied the ship with a fine partnership of 139.
Patterson reached 50 before being bowled by James Knight, while Wilson finished up on 138 not out.
Peebles’ reply was left in tatters by a superb spell of opening bowling by Tom Grindell and Andrew Gray, reducing the hosts to 16 for 5.
County’s tail dug in, but eventually were all out for just 58, with Peter Walker top-scoring on 15.
