KELSO WHEELERS
ON MONDAY night, Kelso Wheelers held their one kilometre and one mile sprints on the Sprouston course.
First up was the 1km, in which 15 riders took part, with Kenny Wilson recording a personal best, but is was Rob Ure, the reigning champion, who was on form to retain his title in one minute and 17 seconds.

Then it was back to the start for the one-mile sprint, in which Donald Richardson and the Burgher brothers, David and Mike, all recorded pbs. David and Mike both came home with the same times to win by a second in two minutes and 10 seconds.

ON A super, warm night the sun certainly shone on Gary Robson, who won convincingly in 21 minutes and 47 seconds.
Jim Logan and Ian Pearson completed the top three with Simon Mills all under 24 minutes for 10 miles.
