BORDER Amateur League Division C outfit Kelso Thistle are looking to recruit a new manager for season 2012/13 and are appealing for suitable candidates to come forward.
For the last three years Tommy Armstrong has been at the helm, with the help of Derek Paterson and others, but but due to work commitments he has has decided it is time to step down.
Paterson told TheSouthern: “Tommy stepped in because nobody else wanted the job and the team would have folded had he not taken on the role.
“He was good enough to keep them going and the club is extremely grateful for the work he has put in over the last three years.
“We are now looking for someone to take over the job and help us keep Kelso Thistle thriving within the Border Amateur League circle.”
