Editor of inhouse magazine Waitrose Kitchen and co-host of the BBC2 series A Question of Taste, William Sitwell, launches his first book, A History of Food in 100 Recipes, today.
To celebrate, Sitwell is giving a talk on ‘10 recipes that changed the world’, at The Mainstreet Trading Company, St Boswell’s on April 21 at 6.30pm.
And we’re offering two lucky readers the chance to win a copy of the book plus two tickets to next week’s event.
Sitwell’s book is a fascinating and witty journey as he picks out the heroes and villains of food history and the dishes that changed the world.
To win one of the prizes, just tell us which TV programme Sitwell co-hosts.
Send your entries, together with your name, full address, including postcode, and daytime telephone numbers, by email to susanwindram@tweeddalepress.co.uk, by noon on April 16.
Usual competition rules apply.
An interview with William Sitwell will appear in next week’s paper.
