KELSO held its annual dinner on Friday night in the Poynder Park clubrooms.
There was a healthy number of members and guests in attendance, and the toasts and replies were well received by those assembled.
The toast to the club was proposed by ex-captain Allan Murray. Current skipper Richard Minto gave an excellent reply.
Toast to the game was made by former international winger Roger Baird in an amusing and interesting manner, with the club coach, Eugene Murnane, delivering the reply. The final toast – to the guests – was in the hands of Alastair Stewart, with the reply given by Robbie Duncan from Ayr.
Awards for the season were made – most improved player, Keiran Wilkinson; players’ player of the year, Chris Riddell; player of the year, Richard Minto.
The night was rounded off with the vote of thanks by Jim McCombie.
