Laura Campbell from Hawick is currently leading a national competition to design a Renault Twizy Ultra Compact Car – but the 26-year-old needs your help in an online vote to win the top prize which is a year’s worth of student fees (£9,000).
The former graphic design student at Borders College, who now studies at the University of Hertfordshire, is appealing for people to vote for her “electric” bodywork design by clicking the ‘Like’ button on the Renault website www.designatwizy.co.uk/lauratwo/
At the time of writing, Laura’s votes stand at 1,848, with her nearest competitor not far behind at 1,642.
The competition ends next Friday and among the high-profile judges are Motoring TV presenter Quentin Wilson.
Renault has chosen two of Laura’s designs in their top 10 for the whole of the UK, but Team Laura is focusing on the one design which is now in the lead.
