YOUNG curlers from the Border Ice Rink completed a grand slam of national wins last weekend to lift the Scottish Championship title at the Dumfries Ice Bowl.
Skip Amy Bryce, Kirsty Fairbairn, Gregg Cessford, Angus Thomson and Jack Fleming completed wins over the East (Stirling, five shots to one), North (Aberdeen 7-1) and West (Hamilton 6-2) to take the title.
The youngsters train twice a week at Kelso and receive valuable support from Youth Chex, Roxburgh Sports Council and the Border Curling Development Group.
This weekend, the Kelso High School team of Cameron Bryce, Lorna Shaw, Neil Sutherland, Calum Potts and Amy Bryce will compete in the Scottish Schools Championship Finals at Murrayfield.
