Hawick Waverley 1
Tweeddale Rovers 0
BAL DIVISION A
A SECOND-half goal from super sub Scott Craig was enough to put victory Waverley’s way.
In what turned out to be a closely-fought affair in which Tweeddale played remarkably well, given the fact that they had a man red-carded during the early stages of the game, the first period conjured up few chances.
Waverley, however, did go close through an Ian Turnbull header that was cleared off the line.
After the break, however, the Teries did the business when Scott Craig produced the scoring touch.
Rovers battled hard for an equaliser but were kept out by fine saves from Hawick keeper Euan Reilly.
