Melrose FC chairman Ray Fenton also backed calls for state of the artificial pitches to be rolled out across the region, following the success of Galashiels’ 3G Arena.
Watch TheSouthern’s video interviews with both Hateley and Fenton online now, and read the fully story in Thursday’s newspaper.
