Hawick United 2
Hearts of Liddesdale 7
BAL DIVISION B
ALTHOUGH outgunned in the second half, United held their own during the first period and scored first when Daniel Bouglas shot home after the Hearts keeper had fumbled a shot.
The visitors hit back to equalise, but Bouglas put United in front again following another error by the Liddesdale keeper who had flapped at a Kevin Strathdee corner kick.
Hearts got on a level pegging early in the second half and soon netted a further two times. United’s misfortunes continued when they were reduced to 10 men as Luke Shankey was sent off for dissent. Liddesdale then hit United with three more strikes.
