Bowhill’s new whisky club holds its first tasting on Saturday, pouring snifters of the five single malt cask-strength malts, bottled under the Duke of Buccleuch’s 20-strong Douglas of Drumlanrig label
Scotch expert Darren Leitch of Edinburgh’s Whisky Shop and Scottish Field introduces the duke’s 12-year-old Royal Lochnagar and Bowmore, 14-year-old Glen Orde and Craigellachie, and a 17-year-old Bladnoch, of which only 120 bottles were made.
The evening begins at 7:30pm in Bowhill Theatre, with a light supper provided, and tickets cost £25 from Bowhill on 01750 22204.
