Hamilton 24
Hawick 29
PREMIER DIVISION B
AFTER three frustrating weeks with no rugby and interrupted training, the Greens got their league campaign back on the rails on Saturday.
Initial pressure from Hamilton was weathered well by some solid defence and then quick possession and good continuity created the first of the visitors’ five penalties, all kicked by Neil Renwick who also converted his own try.
Despite playing 20 minutes of the match with 14 men, because of lack of discipline, the will to work hard saw the Greens claw their way back in the last third with a well worked try for Lee Armstrong after a classy offload from Ross Armstrong
