Gala Rovers 1
Leithen Rovers 1
BAL DIVISION A
A HORROR injury to Shaun Hardie overshadowed this clash between two of the favourites for the Division A title.
The Gala Rovers striker suffered a triple leg break during Saturday’s league match, which ended in a one-all draw.
The hosts, playing a competitive match on Netherdale’s 3G surface for the first time, took the lead through Jordan Steele on 33 minutes.
But the Innerleithen side responded with an equaliser a minute after half-time when Alan McMath set up Peter Shearlaw to score.
Gala are 12 points clear of fifth-placed Leithen at the top of the league, but the Tweeddale team have four games in hand.
