Gala continued their winning run with a thumping 10-wicket Border 20/20 win over St Boswells at The Green.

Electing to bat first, Bossie got off to a good start, scoring a run a ball for the first six overs, however, by then, Kris Mein (3 for 13) had made inroads by bowling both openers. Neil Crooks then ripped the heart out of the top order, picking up four wickets for 12 in his four-over spell.

The young Gala bowlers then joined in with Tharanga, Pringle and Moir all keeping the St Boswells batting in check, with Moir and Pringle picking up a wicket each. A suicidal run out and the return of Mein to oust Young saw the home side dismissed for 74.

In reply, Duncan Millar and David Boland went after the home bowling with a flurry of shots and despite repeatedly changing their attack, St Boswells had no answer. Millar (35 not out) found the boundary on five occasions, while Boland (30 not out) hit a four and a six as the pair saw Gala to their target.
