WITH only four games to go, the first division of the Borders Pool League remains wide open with High Level beating Waverley A, leap frogging them to go top one point clear, and Ship A moving within two points of the leaders after cruising to comfortable win over the Dryburgh.
Nikis A slipped up against the Abbotsford and Fleece returned to form beating Waverley B. Division Two saw clear leaders Reivers B ease past a plucky Bridge team while nearest pursuers Ship B recorded a good away win at White Swan Kelso. Queens Head finally got their first win, impressively accounting for Reivers A and Reivers C edged Nikis B.
