Kelso made 211 for 6, while the home side were all out for 142, Callum Davidson and Stevie Patterson claiming two wickets each.
Teenager Jordan Reid starred for Selkirk with the ball, taking five wickets for only seven runs in his team’s Division 5 win at Peebles County.
James Knight top-scored in Peebles’ total of 64, which Selkirk cruised past with the loss of only one wicket, John Everitt making an unbeaten 29.
In Division 7, Hawick lost by seven wickets to Heriots 3rds. The Teries made 164 for 6, including a knock of 62 from Allan Moffat.

This Sunday sees Gala take on Edinburgh in the Presidents Trophy final at St Boswells, the game held over from last season.
