Hawick Under-17s are enjoying a superb season.
The talented teenagers have swept aside all before them, having won all 11 fixtures so far.
Coach Alec Caldwell said: “Last season was their first in the Under-17s, having jumped up from Under-15 football. It was a big step to take and a case of bedding themselves into the league. This season they’ve come of age and it’s been great to see.”
Standing in their way are main rivals Duns, whom they have still to play twice and have already beaten twice.
Caldwell said: “The season is just past the halfway stage, but we have our eye on winning the league.”
