WITH Reivers A having a free week in the Borders Pool League, Ship A took the chance to close the gap, winning a tight match at The Fleece.
High Level kept up the pressure in third edging a tense local derby against Waverley A and Ship B stay bottom losing comprehensibly to Dryburgh.
Division Two saw a resurgent Abbotsford inflict a second successive defeat on Nikis B and both trail the Station dream team, who only just edged past Bridge A to increase their lead at the top. In the B derby at Hawick, High Level again tore apart the Waverley for a fine Level double on the night, as the Red Lion lost heavily at home to Bridge B.
