GALA coach George Graham is looking to test his players this weekend as they take their first steps into the professional waters, writes Fiona Scott.
Team selection has not been a problem however and the Netherdale boss has, in the main, stuck with the formula that found him success on last weekend’s trip to Mayfield. He commented: “Once again selection is easy as another good win was achieved up at Dundee and the team as a whole are beginning to recapture the form of last season.
“Of course we will continue to improve on aspects of our game but I feel we are on the right path to continue with the form we are showing.”
Looking ahead to Saturday’s British and Irish Cup clash against London Scottish he added: “This week we are delving into the unknown as it will be the first time Gala have played in the B & I Cup.
“I feel that this is an ideal opportunity for the team to test themselves against pro players and to find out where they stand.
“I also think it is a great opportunity to make a name for themselves and Gala by putting a performance together that the club and supporters can be proud of.”
