Three 16-year-olds who deny assaulting a man to the danger of his life at a house in Galashiels will stand trial by jury next Monday.
Liam McMillan, of Meigle View, and Euan Stevenson, of Forest Hill, both Galashiels, along with Jordan Whittaker, of Weensland Road, Hawick, have all pleaded not guilty to repeatedly punching and kicking a man, causing him to fall to the ground and rendering him unconscious, at a house at Meigle View on October 29 last year.
