HAWICK Royal Albert assistant manager Graeme Chadwick has left the club, writes John Slorance and Kenny Paterson.
Manager Lawrie Dunn said: “After serious consideration Graeme has been let go by the club. It was not down to him not having the ability to do the job, but because our relationship as manager and assistant manager had broken down.
“There is no immediate replacement, but an experienced coach will be brought in over the next week or two.”
Hawick tackle Coldstream at home on Saturday in the First Division. The Albert are without injured pair Craig Beattie and Ryan Shepherd.
Gala Fairydean are still on the hunt for a new manager and are inviting applications for the post, as well as the role of under-19s coach.
Chairman Jos Ritchie told TheSouthern: “We are not going to rush in and appoint a new manager immediately. However, at the same time we don’t want the matter to roll on.
“The club just wants the right person to fill Fraser Lothian’s shoes. It is very important that we get the correct person for the job and I am confident that we will.”

Ahead of The Dean’s First Division clash with Kelso United at Netherdale, which has been moved to 1pm to accommodate the Scotland v Serbia match, Ritchie added: “All games in this league are difficult, especially when they are derby matches. We will be hoping to keep our winning league run going, though.”
Jay Wilson is suspended for Gala, while Damien McNulty is missing for United.
Kelso manager Prof Blaikie said: “I was pleased with our show against Berwick Rangers Reserves last Saturday. We got a good point but could have won with a bit of luck. If I get the same sort of performance from the players against Gala then I will be happy.”
Jason Inglis is banned and Euan Pritchard (groin) is a doubt for Selkirk’s trip to Ormiston, while Peebles Rovers travel to Edinburgh to tackle Craigroyston.
In the Premier Division, Vale of Leithen are also off to the capital, lining up against Lothian Thistle/Hutchison Vale.
Meanwhile, the future of Galashiels footballer Danny Galbraith at Hibs is unclear after the Easter Road club told the 22-year-old to stay away from its training ground.
It is believed the injury-hit midfielder was due to have showdown talks with the club yesterday (Wednesday).
