NEXT Saturday is show time in Teviothead.
Entries are good for the small traditional show at Falnash after the sheep show was cancelled last year and the industrial section was the only part to go ahead.
Show chairman Alan Smith said: “Entries are looking good considering the year it has been and hopefully an upturn in the weather will give the field a chance to dry up before next weekend. The show is one of the main events in the valley in the year and everyone rallies round to help.”
Cattle judging takes place on the competing farms with results announced at the show.
There will also be a dog show, hound trail, terrier racing, children’s racing, Hawick Scout Pipe band, the industrial tent and catering and a bar.
