ALTHOUGH the top place in the Scottish Borders Semi-Junior Sevens Series has now been decided, with Gala Wanderers wrapping things up last weekend, the race to be second is very tight with only five points separating four clubs, Selkirk Youth Club, Melrose Wasps, Kelso Harlequins and Jed Thistle.
This weekend, the tournament moves to its final destination at Riverside Park where Thistle will be looking to put on a good show in front of their home crowd.
Draw (first tie 1.30pm): Gala Wanderers v Melrose Colts; Haddington Colts v Selkirk Youth Club; Jed Thistle B v President’s Seven; Edinburgh BATs v Peebles Colts; Langholm Colts v Hawick PSA; Hawick Wanderers v Kelso Harlequins; Duns Colts v Berwick Colts; Jed Thistle A v Tynedale Colts.
