Sport: Cycling

Best moment in sport so far: Winning the 2011 Under-14 British National Championships.
Aims for the next 12 months: Try to win another British series national race and at least podium finishes overall across the five races.
How does the ASP help you most: ASP is helping me in many ways including helping me balance school and homework with training.
Who in sport most inspires you: Got to be Julian Absalon from France because he has won Olympic golds two times in a row, as well as World Championships and World Cup rounds.
Fav TV sporting moment of all time: I don’t really watch much sport on the tv, but if I had to pick one moment it would be watching Mark Cavendish’s finishing burst to win on the Champs Elysees in the 2009 Tour De France.
Best thing about your sport: The best thing about cycling is definitely going down a steep hill at speed.
... but dislike: There is nothing to dislike about cycling ... apart from the pain.
If not in this sport, would like to compete in: Table tennis, as I find it fun and relaxing.
Usual pre-competition meal: Lasagne, because the meat gives you protein which helps you recover and the pasta provides energy. And it tastes great.
Food dislikes: Just mushrooms ... far too slimy.
Best motivational song or track: Mumford and Sons – Little Lion Man.
... but turn off/leave the room to: Any heavy metal.
Competition superstition or odd routine: I have a lucky base layer and socks, but that’s about it. I also have a long routine the night before a race.
When not competing or training I like to: Just relax and watch some TV, such as Scrubs or Big Bang Theory, or go on to Facebook or YouTube.
