Borders police are appealing for information to help trace a 65-year-old man reported missing in Melrose.
Borthwick Wilson from Hawick, known as ‘Kenny’, was last seen leaving Huntleyburn House, Melrose at 2pm yesterday (Tuesday, July 28).
There have been no sightings of him since and concern is now growing for his welfare.
Kenny is described as a white man with a slim build. He is around 6ft 2in in height, has balding grey hair and is described as clean-shaven.
He was last seen wearing a blue top, blue trousers, green polo top and possibly a green jacket.
Anyone who can assist in locating Kenny is asked to contact police immediately.
Inspector Kevin Harris said: “We are keen to establish Kenny’s whereabouts as soon as possible and anyone who believes they have seen him since Tuesday is asked to come forward.
“In addition, we would ask Kenny to get in touch with friends, family or police and let us know you are safe and well.”
